Suicide Is Not For Cowards

I fail to see how any person can hear about someone committed suicide and call that cowardly. If you want to call suicide cowardly, then lets see you being put in the same position. Put a gun to your head and see if you have the guts to pull the trigger.

Like any other species on planet Earth, humans, no matter how advance they are, are driven by primitive instincts. The will to eat, sleep, procreate, and re-hydrate. These wills, basically to live, are hard coded onto every single DNA of human’s body. The will to live is what propels humans forward through time and space. It is the life-fuel itself.

How then, could it be said that suicide is cowardly? You’d have to be brave as all hell to commit suicide since you’re gonna face yourself, literally. You’re gonna fight every single cell on your body, end their lives, and every single one of them is what makes you, well, you. Crazy, depression, out of mind state? Maybe. But coward is nowhere near that kind of person. It takes balls to kill someone, and perhaps another bunch to kill oneself.

If someone said that suicide is cowardly and praise bungee-jumping for it’s braveness, manly stuff, well… I dunno. Should I really do this sad laugh?

Hahaha… Ha.

In any case, those who say that are probably projecting, also known as blame shifting. They probably defend themselves against their own unpleasant impulses by denying their existence while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude.

Suicide is not cowardly. Not at all. The people who say that are just afraid of death, and humiliate those who killed themselves to feel better about their lives. See? Cowards are usually the last to die in any war, since they stay behind.

Oh, and telling a suicidal person that they are being selfish or cowardly does not inspire courage. A soon to be dead person knows that in a matter of few seconds, he or she will know nothing.
